SongTown Presents:

Artist Camp Songwriting CrashCourse

Learn what it’s like to join a recording artist’s team for 3-weeks and write songs for them!

3-Week Online Course / Replays On-Demand!

Starts October 1, 2025

For the first time, real-world training meets a real-world opportunity—you’ll learn what it’s like to work inside an artist’s camp and get hands-on input and direction from recording artists.

This is a supercharged experience to help you master the art of writing songs artists will record.

How it works (3 weeks, online):

  • Get drafted to an artist team. You’ll pitch 3 song titles; the artist selects you to their camp.
  • Write with real direction. Use the artist’s weekly input to shape your song from idea to completion.
  • No more guessing what an artist might sing or say!
  • Live at 7pm CT on Weds. evenings with replays available.

Why this is different:

  • Not just a class—this is working directly with up & coming artists.
  • Your song will be guided personally each week with direction from your artist mentor.
  • Seats are extremely limited so artists can give you personal feedback.

Additional Details:

  • Classes are easy to view and participate from your computer, laptop, or smartphone.
  • All classes are available to watch on replay if you miss it live. We keep the video up for 3 weeks after your class to review at your leisure.
  • Post your assignments in the SongTown.com forum and discuss with your classmates.
